Overview
Responsible to plan and monitor the development, design, and construction of corporate-owned and leased spaces. Ensure project requests support corporate and facilities management goals.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development of space utilization guidelines and procedures to increase efficiencies and improve department performance.
Plan, develop, and monitor projects driven by corporate initiatives and infrastructure requirements.
Ensure projects are in alignment with budgets as well as corporate and divisional goals including relocations required for renovations, tenant improvements, and new construction projects.
Coordinate long-range planning of space utilization.
Develop reports and presentations to identify trends and track progress regarding projects.
Implement and maintain space management software.
Provide cost estimates for renovations.
Perform physical counts of vacant and occupied stations to verify space usage.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, facilities management, engineering, construction technology or related field is preferred.
Five (5) years of related experience is required.
Knowledge of furniture systems and AutoCAD is required.
Experience in interior office renovation and construction is preferred.
Good organizational, planning, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with limited direction in a team environment.
Ability to interact with employees at all levels including senior leadership.
Ability to understand and apply building codes and safety regulations.
Working knowledge of PC applications (PeopleSoft, Word, Access, Excel, Project etc).
Ability to work after normal business hours to include weekends and holidays in the case of emergency situations.
